Answers to the most common questions about shoots, booking and how things work.
You receive all the successful shots from the day – I prefer not to promise fixed numbers, as every wedding is different. For a full-day wedding, experience shows several hundred high-quality edited images come together.
Yes, every image you receive is edited by me in colour, light and look. Detailed skin retouching of individual favourites is also possible on request.
Gladly. I accompany you from getting ready through the registry office or a church or free ceremony to the evening celebration. We agree in advance which hours you really need.
Yes. If the day runs longer than expected, that's no problem – each additional hour costs €200 and is simply billed after the wedding.
Your finished gallery is usually ready within 1–3 days. Especially after the wedding, you don't want to wait weeks for the images.
Yes, the personal get-to-know-you chat beforehand is always included. It's important to me that we already have a feel for each other before your big day – you can see it in the images later.
By default I deliver in colour. I'm very happy to create black-and-white versions of your favourites in addition, on request.
Should I be unavailable at short notice, I inform you immediately and arrange an equally skilled replacement through my photographer network, so your wedding is captured no matter what.
No need to worry – rain often makes the most atmospheric images. We always have a plan B (covered spots, indoor locations, a transparent umbrella) and make the best of any weather.
Yes, and I even recommend it. A couple shoot before the wedding takes away the nervousness in front of the camera and you get to know me better. With a wedding booking for 2027, the one-hour couple shoot is even included free until 31 Oct 2026.
I deliberately don't offer finished albums, as tastes vary greatly. You receive all images in high resolution and can design your album completely freely and individually.
There are dreamlike venues around Lake Chiemsee – my favourites include the Alpenhof Westerbuchberg in Übersee, the Hafenwirt in Seebruck, the Eventstadl Seiseralm in Bernau, as well as the Schlosswirtschaft Herrenchiemsee and the Luitpold am See in Prien. You'll find an overview with tips on my page about wedding venues at Lake Chiemsee.
I'm at home right here in the region (Vachendorf near Traunstein), know the loveliest spots and the light at Lake Chiemsee – and photograph naturally, unposed and up close. You get honest, emotional images, a finished gallery in 1–3 days and personal, straightforward support – currently rated 5.0 out of 5 stars.
In Germany, a professional wedding photographer costs between €1,000 and €4,000 depending on experience and scope; in the Chiemgau and at Lake Chiemsee the average for a full-day reportage (8–10 hrs) is around €2,000 to €3,000. With me, wedding coverage starts at €500 (up to 2.5 hrs), each additional hour costs €200 – a full-day 8-hour reportage including editing and online gallery therefore comes to around €1,600. That way you pay exactly what you really need.
The base price for wedding coverage (up to 2.5 hours) is €500, each additional hour costs €200. That way you pay exactly what you really need. You'll find a detailed overview in the price calculator on the weddings page.
Whenever it feels right for you – just get in touch as soon as your date is set, no rush at all. For 2027, booking by 31 Oct 2026 currently includes a free couple shoot.
Very simply: you send me your key details, we get to know each other, and you receive a suitable offer. With a contract and a deposit, your date is then bindingly reserved.
A 40% deposit secures your date bindingly. The remainder is only due after the wedding – any additional hours are then simply billed too.
Yes. Within a 25 km radius of Traunstein, travel costs are already included. For locations further away, only a fair mileage rate applies, which we set out transparently in advance.
You receive all images digitally in full resolution for download. On request I also set up a private online gallery through which you can conveniently view, download and share your images with family and friends.
You receive comprehensive usage rights for private purposes: you may have the images printed, share them and post them on social media. The copyright remains with the photographer; I occasionally use individual shots for my portfolio – wedding images, however, only with your express consent.
A studio shoot in Traunstein costs €150 (2 hours), an outdoor shoot at Lake Chiemsee or in the Chiemgau from €199 (2 hours). More on the People page.
Both are possible. Together we pick a place that suits you – the shore of Lake Chiemsee, a forest path in the Chiemgau, a field near Traunstein or the studio in Traunstein for weather-independent, clean shots.
A shoot lasts at least 2 hours. That leaves enough time to loosen up – the nicest images usually happen once you've almost forgotten about the shoot.
Ideally clothing you genuinely feel comfortable in and that suits you – not costumes. You're also welcome to bring several outfits. I'll give you a few personal tips on this beforehand.
Very gladly. Personal accessories give the images a personal touch, and pets are warmly welcome at outdoor shoots.
Discretion comes first. Your images belong to you and go into a private, password-protected gallery. Nothing is published – neither on the website nor on social media – unless you expressly release individual shots in writing. More on the boudoir page.
Not at all. You don't need any experience. I guide you sensitively on posing and posture, and we start in a very relaxed way – at your pace and with your music.
Yes, very much. A boudoir shoot is a special, personal gift – for example as bridal boudoir, a surprise for your partner before the wedding.
Absolutely. You alone decide how far we go and how much you reveal. We calmly discuss your comfort boundaries in advance, so you can fully let go during the shoot.
The photo booth measures 400 × 600 mm and stands on an elegant stand – it fits discreetly into any wedding or party venue.
You don't have to worry about that – I handle setup and takedown completely. You simply enjoy the celebration.
No, the photo booth works completely independently and needs no Wi-Fi on site.
Yes, your guests can transfer their images directly to their own phone via AirDrop – instantly and without detours.
Props are not included – that keeps the look elegant, and you can bring your own accessories to match your celebration if you like.
My focus is around Lake Chiemsee and in the Chiemgau – Traunstein, Prien, Bernau, Aschau, Übersee, Seebruck and Chieming. Beyond that, I'm happy to travel to Rosenheim and the nearer surroundings for you.
Within a 25 km radius of Traunstein, travel costs are included. Longer distances are no problem and are billed via a fair, pre-agreed mileage rate.
I work with professional Sony equipment – the Sony Alpha 7 III and the Sony Alpha 7 IV – always with a second camera as a backup.
My style is natural and documentary – real, unposed moments instead of stiff poses. At the same time I adapt to your wishes, so the images really suit you.
